AirgunBBS Ban
After 17 years on the AirgunBBS I got banned twice.
To be honest, I had little interest in returning to the BBS after my first ban but 6 months after it ended I was finally persuaded back on only to be banned again within weeks!
Sadly, the BBS became an echo chamber for certain posters with the mods allowing their mates to run riot while anyone challenging the clique got banned. Many interesting and knowledgable posters were lost that way while a handful of idiots (mostly not even airgunners) were allowed to ruin the board. In the end I requested account deletion since it became pointless contributing there. Shame, a once excellent forum now moderated to death.
